But do I think ALL mid-sized Hell Creek tyrannosaurs are Nanotyrannus?

Not necessarily.

The big challenge now is differentiating specimens of Nanotyrannus from bona fide juvenile rex. And it will be tough, as they are probably really similar.

A ferocious debate over teenage T. rex fossils may finally be settled
For decades, paleontologists debated whether fossils were of a young T. rex or a species called nanotyrannus. A new study settles it: Nanotyrannus is real.

The State Department just notified certain staff they are to work during the shutdown because their job is "necessary for emergencies involving the safety of human life" or "essential to national security"

Except…some people who got this were laid off weeks ago in the RIF!

Seriously, read this statement they launched on day one of the administration and see how long you can make it before you feel like you're going insane.

The false promise of "originalism" is that the Founders agreed on what they intended to write (they didn't), that they understood exactly what they wrote (they didn't), and that the thought the Constitution was set in stone, never to be changed (they didn't). Originalism needs context.
yikes yikes yikes: With the support of dozens of Republican judges, the Heritage Foundation created an 800-page clause-by-clause breakdown of the Constitution "that seeks to establish originalism as the sole legitimate way to read the nation's founding charter"

I am no constitutional scholar, but I can't help but feel that "the President gets to dictate what every university can teach and what every television station should broadcast" is closer to what the founding fathers were worried about when it comes to free speech than trigger warnings on syllabi.

Over on The Hellsite, JD Vance has now functionally called for an end to due process for migrants. His argument is riddled with deceptions, bad faith, and embarrassingly awful logic. I think it needs a real response, so here's what I put up over there.

First, his 20 million number is fiction. 1/
