Played a game of Micro Macro Crime City. It's a great game for a couple, but some of the mysteries can get really dark.

Like board game meeples, but bees.

First time playing Honey Buzz. Got crushed by 50 points, but it was a lot of fun. Here's my quick review.

The last grab was Impossible Machine. It's a game where you lay down cards to manipulate a ridiculous machine. No idea if it'll be good, but it seemed like it would be silly and fun.

Third is Guillotine. I've played this one a few times before and I couldn't pass it up. It's a great family game if you're ok with a little (ahem) gallows humor.

Next up is Thrive. My partner and I played this one at AwesomeCon this year. It's a two-player abstract strategy game about lotus flowers competing to take over a pond. Pieces gain moves as the game goes on, increasing the complexity.

First up is Taco Bell the game. This is a judgment-free zone. (Also, I'm giving it as a gift.) It's a set-collection game where you try to fulfill Taco Bell orders for your crew.

We also bought the Halloween version of Boop. Now with ghosts and scardy cats!

I bought the expansion of Vast the Crystal Caverns-- The Fearsome Foes. I was in a bit of a bidding war for this one, so I feel a bit bad winning, but it has an evil unicorn, so I really wanted to get it.

Another win by my partner (in the silent auction). She loves the Red Rising series and really wanted the game.

Beeples!

Next is Honey Buzz. My partner bought this because it has Bee-ples. Looking forward to learning how to play.

First up: The Quest for El Dorado. It's a racing adventure game, but you use a deck-building mechanic to get from point A to B. This is the perfect deck builder for people iffy on deck builders. I won this in a silent auction that went to a live runoff.

Had a great time at the Labyrinth DC board game auction. I supported schools (i.e. spent money) more than I planned, but it was worth it.

I wanted to start world building but instead sketched the layout of Classical period Kyoto.
