Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Finally finished Alien Isolation after years of thinking it was too scawwy
Final verdict: too long! Could’ve lost a couple missions here or there or compressed the very long ones, especially the midway fake-out climax.

I think I’m coming around on the PAL card section of Metal Gear Solid. It’s a nice breather and gives you some time to sit with your thoughts (a la the ladder in Snake Eater) and allows the story some time to develop further before you get to the barrage of cut scenes and boss fights.

The best time for you to go exercise is to simply go when you can, but I can’t understate the positive feeling you can get by going first thing in the morning, especially if you’re like me and enjoy having a lot of time in the evening to decompress from work/ spend time with family after your 9-5
on the one hand it sucks to wake up at 4:30am. on the other i am always pleased when i have knocked out a ton of weight and a lot of steps before the day really starts going
