POSSESSOR(S) is launching today.

I have been the producer on this project for three years, & the last few weeks have been difficult. Most of the team isn't around anymore to celebrate the launch, so I wrote many words about these incredible people to celebrate them.

The latest issue of PC Gamer magazine, of course!

(Which would probably tell me that Fallout is a better game than Z:GI, but it's 1997 and I have my loyalties.)

Some incredibly good news:

One year ago this week, The Onion returned to print.

In that one year, we’ve grown to the 13th largest print newspaper in the United States, just ahead of the Boston Globe, and growing fast.

In short, it’s working.

So… thank you. Thank you for helping save this thing.

Whoo! This seems like a genuinely neat app. And if it's fully funded, then I'll get paid a little bit to be one of its panel of experts that you can pick to skew your recommendations towards.

I can't legally say that I will make you more attractive to your preferred gender, but I totally will.
1000 BACKERS!

Amazing and kind of surreal. We are so close to funding. Why not check the Kickstarter out this weekend. Any pledges gets you access to our fully functional prototype.

22 years ago… before Eberron… I was lead designer on an MMORPG called Lost Continents. It was pulp adventure—like Indiana Jones and Uncharted (but before Uncharted!). I just stumbled on a book of concept art and thought I’d share some images this week.

With the massive game industry layoffs, scammers are out in force to rip off desperate game devs. If you're approached about a job opportunity:
*Verify the position on the official studio site, if possible
*Don't share info like your SSN or banking numbers
*DON'T WORK FOR FREE!

If you're looking around wondering how we got such great games like Baldurs Gate 3 and Tears of the Kingdom I want you to consider it is because of companies that retain their talent. Those teams were able to make those games because they got to stick together.

Remember, when people talk about AAA studios, it refers to the sound of the screaming during the #gamedev process. AA studios have slightly less screaming. AAA+ is all the screaming plus a little bit extra. Indie means the devs scream independently.
