I miss when we all shared art for the hell of it and we weren't all trying to survive so much. But that was a long time ago for me; like 2000-2012 it feels.

Just putting it out there that hosting your own git repo is as cheap as a tiny vps and a few minutes to set up Gitea. It's all upsides.

I made a notebook in TypeScript and Supabase. It follows all the normal markdown rules for text editing, uses Prism.js to format the codeblocks and it renders Youtube and Map links.

I've never made anything like this before and honest, I'm well chuffed with it.

And they’re off! The race is on to decide who to blame for this latest set of avoidable calamities, but who will it be? The PM with no friends who is a Sooty glove puppet for a tiny clique of psychos? Or will it be the Chancellor, and her foaming decade-long hunger to stomp on the poor and disabled?

Today is Britain at its absolute stinking worst: a full on media and political feeding frenzy targeting someone who righteously sought to punch up for doing so in the wrong way, as we all avert our eyes from a real, genuine evil. Properly grim.

Started implementing the View Transition API on a site and honestly, not as easy as I thought it would be going into to it.

That said, I'm pretty blown away. This is great stuff.

An underrated strategy, or so I keep telling myself, is to buy a textbook and never read it but just go about your life until one day you somehow know all the information contained therein and then you can read the textbook as a victory lap (also works for saved PDFs/bookmarks)
