Tbf the amount of gish galloping that goes on in those conversations is often hard to respond to. It's why in those situations I would just call the person instead of responding through text because I didn't have the patience to hit every point in that long ass dissertation.

I'm in this space because sometimes we covet too much, instead of realizing even "dream jobs" are replete with bullsh*t. There is no such thing (TO ME) as a dream job. Once you romanticize the job, you accept the delusion. I never want to misremember that I'm working for a living, not just writing.

Well. To be fair the “separation between church and state” was thrown out ages ago when conservatives and evangelicals linked up like power ranges over their shared hatred of anyone not white, male, cisgender, heterosexual, and wealthy. So yeah. This tracks. Natural conclusion honestly.
