The best comparison case for LLMs I can think of pre-coffee is pumpkin spice. LLMs are the pumpkin spice of the corporate world. Pumpkin spice can be lovely in very limited quantities and proper recipes. But not when it’s on absolutely every single friggin food group in the supermarket.
No one can tell me a single good use for it, for me. I have asked. Not a one.
What am I supposed to use it for? To summarize my emails? Too long, wrong. To write things? Too long, wrong. To plan trips? Planning is FUN and why would I outsource that? I played with it a bit six months ago, it was meh.
Also, I hate its enshittification of search results with my whole soul.

Looking forward to all the postmortems asking why the GOP is so out of touch with young men, and why their fascist propaganda is so alienating.
Republicans thought they had a permanent hold over young men. They didn't.
Spanberger wins men 18-29 by 14%, Sherrill by 10%, and Mamdani by a stunning 40%.

SNAP isn't about "people who don't work." It's about people who don't get paid enough to live.
Of the 40 or so million people who rely on food stamps:
* Two-thirds are children, seniors, or disabled
* Most working-age adults who receive SNAP are employed—but in jobs that pay poverty wages

Would be fired from every job.
Mike Johnson called us back from July 4 recess on 7/3 so he could gut Americans’ healthcare in the Big Ugly bill. Since then, he has only had the House in session for 19 of the subsequent 104 days. That’s how we ended up here.
