Here it is, spinning the first track, the finger-picked plaintive love song "Messages" with gorgeous cello by Helen McSherry.

My new record comes out Friday! You can download it or buy a CD on Bandcamp - all my released stuff is there.

But for the first time, this record will also be on....vinyl! Yes, due to the magic of on-demand vinyl, you could spin the black circle for my indiefolk album elasticstage.com/michaelmunnik

I’m impressed.
A nice example of how to handle this with transparency and honesty. Carroll makes a strong case for accountability.

This thread makes clear that it’s reasonable to expect some explanation and soul-searching from those who were connected with Epstein.
Hey, my name is in the Epstein files! I've told the story before, but should probably re-up.

TLDR: never met the guy, never took (or asked for) any money from him, never visited the island. I was invited to the island, and said no.

It's not that hard to just say no.

Ding ding!
The daft thing is that with Proportional Representation there'd be no need for this self-destructive war within Labour. It could split into its component parts - left and right - and people could vote for what they wanted. It's only First-Past-the-Post that forces these irreconcilables together.

An important test for the authorities responsible for policing our electoral law.

Well done to excellent local journalism from @manchestermill.bsky.social for breaking this story. 👏
EXCLUSIVE: Reform UK just broke electoral law in Gorton and Denton.

The party confirmed they sent out campaign materials without proper party imprint, something it insists was a mistake.

Plenty of people managed to reconcile "I will not take what's not mine" and "I will welcome the stranger" in their heads long before modernity because there is literally no contradiction between these beliefs. It doesnt exist.

"Last night, as I'm watching television,
There's a rally in the city streets.
All those people look like they're on a mission,
And I'm wishin' I could get a piece."

Wrote those words half my life ago; they've returned to me at just the right moment for this song.

The best of this was the grapefruit juice concentrate, which, for reasons of physics that I couldn't possibly explain, was much *colder* than the orange juice, so on the first morning you made it, you had little icy crystals at the top of your juice glass. Seriously the best way to wake up.
Discontinued Food News! This will be especially devastating for those of you, who like me, have the childhood sensory memory of clunking a cylinder of orange slush around in a plastic pitcher of water with a wooden spoon to produce the most underwhelming OJ imaginable, burned into your brain!
The iconic, slush-filled tubes of orange juice concentrate, which have been around for 80 years, are being discontinued, the Coca-Cola Company says.
