Trans teens suicides went up by over 500% because of Wes Streeting's puberty blocking ban

Why aren't the terfs worried about half of them (the afabs) dying in such high numbers?

Because it was never about protecting women & children

It's always been about our more trans deaths

Our genocide
One of the wickedest things Wes Streeting has ever done is push politically convenient falsehoods about suicide rates amongst young trans people. We have new data from the National Child Mortality Database that exposes the truth he tried to cover up.
New data shows surge in trans kids’ suicides following healthcare rollbacks | Good Law Project
A freedom of information request by Good Law Project has found that deaths by suicide of trans young people under 18 surged following the withdrawal of gender-affirming healthcare

oh, what we always kinda knew already

Forcing trans women to compete with cis men puts them at a significant disadvantage, physiologically
Allowing trans women to compete with cis women puts no one at a disadvantage, physiologically

So, what shall you do oh cis overlords? In your infinite wisdom?

Men invariably side with men in solidarity

Generously, I'll allow there might be two codes in men:

The gender code
The justice code

When they come into conflict, the gender code invariably triumphs

Just look at what happened with the French woman - over decades, men colluded in rape and abuse
5. What this is about is the locus of solidarity. Either you express solidarity with the victims of genocide and the victims of sexual abuse. Or you express solidarity with someone you treat as a hero, who might be assisting the airbrushing of those crimes. There’s a choice to be made.

It's pretty clear to us that implementation of the Sullivan 'review' breaches UK GDPR obligations. EU GDPR, identical to ours, says you can't process data about the sex assigned at birth of trans people unless there is a very good reason for doing so. And we are active in this space.
📣 Today @felicitycallard.bsky.social and I have published the first peer-reviewed response to the 'Sullivan Review' of research and data on sex and gender.

doi.org/10.1111/tran...

The Review could threaten trans rights and inclusion, erode academic freedom, and undermine research quality.

@citystgeorges.bsky.social would do well to consider this article carefully

Megaphone promoting Alice Sullivan's work is not a research positive position.

It threatens research (and trans inclusion)

On the 12th Feb, CitySG makes its stand www.citystgeorges.ac.uk/news-and-eve...

What's yours?

Ah yes the old 'we just want to protect women and girls' movement - funded by far right religious organisations and a serial paedophiler, who also acted as a mass coordinater for the systematised abuse of....?

Yeah you got it

but also deliberately mostly girls before continuing with them as adults
Good god. We've spent a decade with the British media - including the BBC - claiming that the 'gender critical' movement wanted to 'protect women and girls'.

And it turns out Jeffrey Epstein was funding part of it.
I'm not being facetious. Epstein was apparently giving talking points to the people pushing anti trans rhetoric in the UK.

What most reduces the chance a trans kid will suicide?

Getting the support and recognition they need to be themselves

What is most likely to kill them?

The opposite

The UK government position?

Mandated conversion abuse, segregation, no support, no recognition

I.e.

'We want them to die'
The figures here also show that 7% of all child suicides were trans children. That compares with trans children making up only 1% of the population.

Trans kids are seven times as likely to die by suicide as cis kids and all this government can do is make things worse and cover these figures up.
LGBTQ+ children make up 16.6 per cent of the children recorded as dying by suicide in England, QueerAF can reveal 👇

Worried the Greens might not have a chance? Here's what OddsChecker thinks

Betfair puts Greens odds on favourite
Gambling . com have Reform and the Greens equal favourite
Bet 365 have reform just ahead, Greens 2nd

All of the polls and bettings have the by-election between Reform and Green

Charging students was never about the cost. It's always been about binding our kids into a debtors society, & privitising eduction

Government decision to make education market driven, pacify the population by keeping them in debt, struggling to survive, are an evil that should be abolished
Your reminder:

£20 billion is the cost of cancelling all student loans

£10 billion is the annual cost of abolishing tuition fees

£90 billion is the lost tax revenue because of Brexit

ah yes, the normal way left wing people approach issues. Or at least it should be
Spain's left-wing government approved a plan to regularise around 500,000 undocumented migrants by decree, the country's latest break with harsher policies elsewhere in Europe

Please respond if you're able and get others to do so if you can.

Mary-Ann 'Judge me by the transphobic things I do not just what I say' Stephenson is merely trying to find comfortably fitting systems of segregation, isolation & persecution into existing legislation

So that trans people can be more easily isolated, imprisoned or killed when Reform get power

It's Holocaust memorial day. We know who to remember:

First the Jews

Then the official others: Rwandans, Cambodians, Bosnians, Darfurians, maybe the Roma and Sinti, but probs only the Roma are mentioned

Who we are permitted to, and reminded to, mourn is so very political indeed

Someone shared to my facebook

A useful reminder that USA aggression & Hegemony is not new

What's new is Trump threating a white state (Denmark), after 80 years of non-military, indirect economic aggression between western states

You are currently in the 'is this a joke?' phase

It is not a joke

It cannot be made clearer.

If you continue to support the Harry Potter franchise in any way, you are directly funding the removal of trans people's human rights in the UK.

Such an important point!

(And this is essentially the same point black women, and trans women, make about having to be strong resilient, 'you're so brave' 'so inspiring!' enduring everything because there's no other choice)
The narrative of exceptional Ukrainian resilience is one of the most harmful tropes I’ve seen during this war.

Yes, we refuse to give up. Yes, we have picnics in -15°C. Yes, we keep living, drinking coffee, and even laughing occasionally, but all of this stems from a lack of choice.
