Last episode of Heated Rivalry was so sweet. I wish my gay uncle was alive to see it. It would probably have brought about some complicated feelings, because he never got any of the validation or support he deserved, but I think it would still have made him happy to see. I miss him so much.

Had a lovely Christmas. Reminder of how lucky I am to have the folks I do in my life, even though I've lost so much of my family and seeing folks can be inconsistent. Lucky for my wife and her family. Also managed to get 3 books and a planner, a fountain pen, so feeling like a lucky writer person.
