This is 100% true! And yet, I usually end up getting the 4K disc anyway. 😅
A few words to those upgrading to 4K/UHD this year. No this isn't about turning off motion smoothing and other nonsense, I assume you're on top of that.
1) You do NOT need to upgrade all of your Blu-ray discs! Even if you splurge on a huge fuck-off display or projector, you know, a 108" screen,
