IMO the worst part is that many fare-free advocates don't acknowledge that fast, reliable, and frequent transit costs $$.
If you want to argue that fare-free transit is better than improved service, go ahead! But saying "I'll take both, please" is not an option in a world of limited budgets.

The best part of the free fare debate is that virtually everyone at least claims to agree that fast, reliable, and frequent transit is necessary!

I rarely see Fractal Texturing used anywhere but find it really useful. It makes a single texture look good at any distance, without getting pixelated or blurry and tiled, by interpolating between different scales of the same texture based on the depth.
