The Founders were so concerned about bribery that the Constitution forbids it three separate times. Two emoluments clauses ban officials—unambiguously including the president—from accepting things of value, plus bribery is the only named impeachable offense besides treason.

Unprecedentedly corrupt.

Free advice: Don’t hire Alan Dershowitz as your defense attorney.
Dershowitz: The predecessor on your show described Epstein as a convicted pedophile. He pleaded guilty to one count of having sex for money with a 17-year-and-10-month-old person. That’s not a pedophile.

Especially posting this on the same day RFKjr's ex-mistress, Olivia Nuzzi, is getting her glow-up in the NYTimes for her memoir about their affair.

I can't imagine Susie Wiles is thankful for this "help"
If there’s a nascent power struggle around the WH COS (and there always is), the thing that will quash it is definitely a major cabinet secretary publicly calling attention to it with vague accusations in a social media post.

No one should approach this in any other way.

I can recognize (and enjoy) it is politically damaging to Trump, AND be perfectly comfortable with an investigation like this going where it goes. These two thoughts are not mutually exclusive.
Exposing the Epstein Network is not going to be politically convenient. If your interest in unravelling a child rape network is to only take down Trump, you aren't interested in justice. Sure it can take him down, but you must adult up; accept it'll take down some of your favourite politicians too.

As they should have been doing all along.

The threshold question is if they are giving a pass to the President’s friends, and only targeting his perceived enemies.

They should be following the evidence wherever it leads and taking action without regard to party or power.

This is an excellent insight.
This implications of this bullshit Hitler DNA project are absolute trash. You can't determine whether someone's gonna become a Nazi via DNA. The effort to explain things that way is itself the kind of thing Nazis would do.

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

Started the re-watch and forgot how next level awesome this adaptation was. Equal to the book, but different in all the right ways to make superior television.
