We have lots of judges in this country who, in conflict with powers at the highest levels of government, are truly committed to protecting the rule of law. I hope they know how many of us out here are grateful they’re still fighting for justice.

“3 weeks after Mr. Sarcone claimed the title of Acting U.S. Atty,” he subpoenaed the president’s “political adversary,” directing that all docs be sent to himself “personally. ‘Grand juries are ‘not meant to be the private tool of a prosecutor’ ... much less one who is not lawfully appointed.”

Reading more closely, Judge Schofield’s holding that John Sarcone was unlawfully appointed US Atty for NDNY is not just the 5th such finding. In quashing his grand jury subpoenas to Letitia James, Schofield all but says that his probe is vindictive.

It's beyond annoying that the media discusses Trump's policies & the nonsense he spews like he is a normal person & not a dementia ridden racist pedophile, who somehow fooled enough Americans to vote for him anyway.

Holy crap.

Defendants (i.e. the government) stipulated in doc. 27. that "[a] primary reason" as to whether a termination decision was made was over "was whether the grantee was located in a “Blue State.”"

(footnotes, page break cropped out)

Its not that the media is not covering what is happening, but it does feel like the military occupation of an American city should be treated as a national crisis.

Trump says Renee Good was killed for being "disrespectful".

When they tell you who they are, believe them.
Q: "Do you believe that deadly force was necessary?"

Trump: "It was highly disrespectful of law enforcement. The woman and her friend were highly disrespectful of law enforcement…Law enforcement should not be in a position where they have to put up with this stuff."

I'm absolutely for abolishing ICE. Just start again with an entirely new force.
Sadly, he’s just saying explicitly what far too many think to themselves quietly.

I’m not an abolitionist, but I also think our national love of law enforcement needs to come to an end.

We need them, but we should we wary and skeptical of them—like anyone w lethal power—not glorify them.

If anyone has seen this on TikTok, turns out it's complete fiction.

Minn. Stat. § 609.066 is on the subject of authorized use of deadly force by peace officers, but this text is not there.

Like, the words "driver", "accelerates" and "toward" are all entirely absent.
