Here’s my statement on the EO from yesterday. “Deregulating” our fisheries very dangerous for fish and fishing communities, and there’s no way to address the other challenges facing our fisheries while NOAA is being dismantled.
The administration's latest Executive Order would weaken, not strengthen, our fishing industry by increasing the risk that overfishing drives our fish stocks into decline, effectively taking healthy U.S. seafood off the menu.

Here’s my statement on the EO from yesterday. “Deregulating” our fisheries very dangerous for fish and fishing communities, and there’s no way to address the other challenges facing our fisheries while NOAA is being dismantled.
This paints a clear picture of both the toll that NOAA cuts are having on individuals and also what is at stake for our fisheries and coastal communities. I know some of these people, and they care so much about the ocean and the people who rely on it. Devastating. www.pbs.org/newshour/pol...
