To be fair, the Severe Thunderstorm Warning did have a Tornado Possible tag.
Emergency management controls the outdoor warning sirens.
Unless they have a policy that says they absolutely won’t turn the sirens on unless there’s a tornado warning, then they didn’t do anything wrong. 🤷♂️

Hearing that WPC is going to start doing the Day 4-7 forecasts for all of the country instead of the individual WFOs.
I’m not a big fan of this. Keeping forecasts local ensures higher quality forecasts through the whole period.

Some parts of the state are waking up to snow on the ground on this cold November 9.
While not a big snowmaker, it’s the first measurable snowfall across southern Wisconsin, and wind chills have dipped into the single digits and teens across the state.
