I’ve said it before but furries have been so bad for so long that I just assume that you’re a bigoted piece of shit up to full on nazi unless you’ve proven otherwise. Like it’s *always* furries. And I know some very nice ones they can exist! They also don’t feel persecuted because they aren’t dumb

I would suggest you seek out the counsel of someone you trust who is currently serving or recently retired and posit this same question to them. But maybe don't call them a Nazi.
