Judge is a great player, but Cal Raleigh had the best ever season by a catcher and should have been the MVP. Bad enough that the oligarch teams dominate the sport. They shouldn't geta leg up in post-season awards too.

Blue Jays went from 74 wins in 2024 to 94 wins in 2025, won the AL East, had the best record in the AL, won the AL pennant, and were an inch away from winning the World Series, & have a manager who is very well-loved by his players. But sure, that’s not worthy of Manager of the Year. Bravo, voters!

Decoration Day, Armistice Day and Remembrance Day have all been days to honour Canada's veterans.
For a time, our day of remembrance fell on the same day as Thanksgiving.
But Remembrance Day as we know it has been celebrated 1931.
This is the story.

Did you know that in Canada, if a budget doesn’t pass the government doesn’t shut down?

Federal workers aren’t furloughed.

Funding for social services doesn’t dry up.

Failure to pass a budget triggers an election.

It puts the politicians jobs on the line.

They get the budget passed.
