On the second day of debate for the Assisted Dying Bill, over nearly five hours, peers debated only 21 amendments.

Meanwhile, 82 new amendments were added in the past week!

This isn’t scrutiny, it’s sabotage.

We all know this is nuts. What the hell are the government thinking? This lady is a thoughtful, eloquent, seemingly decent person and the police are being used to put her in the same category as bombers. 😵‍💫
BREAKING: Police mass arrest protestors at the Ministry of Justice for peacefully holding signs which say:

"I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action"

The Terrorism Act is being weaponised to silence the public. We will continue to resist until the ban is lifted.

Yes! Hilary McGrady and the National Trust are right. Nature isn't a blocker to development - it's fundamental to a healthy, thriving economy.

The Chancellor must stop bat-bashing and instead embrace people's love of nature and the economic opportunity that it brings.🌳
Nature isn’t a “blocker” – it makes our lives better.

Our coast, countryside, heritage and wildlife underpin our food, water and health and put millions of pounds into the economy. The Government must not weaken the laws that protect them.

Watching Labour MPs take a wrecking ball to nature makes me so angry & so sad. Their action tonight voting down amendments to the #PlanningBill intended to protect wildlife & habitats from destruction is so reckless & so counterproductive. People didn’t vote Labour for this 👇
