Italian voice actor Carlo Bononi was the voice of all of the characters on Pingu. A trained clown by trade, he used a theater technique called grammelot, which consists of "speaking" in a mix of babbled gibberish noises. He improvised all the voices live and unscripted.

I’ve only just realised, thanks to a convo with my manager, that if we come out of the ECHR our team’s jobs will be defunct. If I’ve got that right? I’m a bit meh about changing jobs as it drives me nuts at the moment but it just confirms to me that this is a fucking stupid idea.
