Data centers need energy plus cooling systems. But how much water is involved ? Tens of billions of liters maybe, but it varies. Withdrawal in 2023 was 35 billion liters, equivalent of water supplies for Rhode Island. But again, it's complicated. #SciWri25 🧪 #DataCenters

I had to escort her into the Capitol on Wed bc Capitol police must treat her as a public visitor until she’s sworn in. And solo visitors aren’t allowed during shutdown!
