The Conservative Party - described as frat house bullies by d’Entremont - has much bigger problems than its current leader. The party is dominated by anti-vaxxers, misogynists, homophobes, and white supremacists. They'd have to replace most of its MPs and start over.

The budget "experts" on Just Asking today couldn't be more lame. Caller criticized Carney for axing the yacht tax, and both guests rationalized it this way: it was too hard to collect, and taxing people with yachts drives investors away.

CBC reported that Carney ordered his cabinet to find $25 billion in "savings", i.e. service cuts. This is beyond attrition, this is beyond any austerity we've ever seen.

He intends to transfer those "saved $" to defence and industries like oil.

Ford did not get approval from Carney to run the failed ad, and didn't care one iota what Carney thought of the ad.

The ad created a distraction from Ford's corruption and make us feel a little better.
