It seemed so quaint and funny when George Bluth told his son he may have committed some “light treason” on Arrested Development, and yet truth is so much dumber than fiction.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared detailed information about strikes in Yemen to a second unclassified Signal group chat that included his wife and brother, people familiar with the matter said. nyti.ms/4jBQ1wV

i would go further: the main purpose of the new adaptation is to fund jk rowling's legal challenges against trans people. there's no earnest motivation to accomplish or do something the cinematic adaptations failed to do. this is just a boat load of money for rowling to bankroll her bigoted crusade.
It’s worth noting that JK Rowling is not only funding meritless legal challenges against trans people until they can appeal up to the court that will back them, she openly gloats about how this is where her money is going. This is what the Harry Potter TV show is bankrolling.
jk rowling funded a case going before the supreme court that argues it should be legal to discriminate against and persecute trans ppl.

yet still we have to listen to ‘centrists’ claiming she isn’t bigoted she just has ‘a difference of opinion’.

no trans ppl have a voice in these proceedings.

I have something that's maybe a bit mean to say but the most interesting thing about blowing resources to send Katy Perry into space is that she probably experienced it with the same depth of the average Six Flags goer on a rollercoaster

A king is what they wanted. And a king is what they got.
Trump is claiming he can declare an immigrant a criminal, abduct them, hustle them out of the country and have an ally keep them locked away forever, without any chance to see the evidence against them, prove their innocence or access the justice system at all – and no one has the power to stop him.

every person involved in this needs to be in prison
“One young man sobbed when a guard pushed him to the floor. He said, ‘I’m not a gang member. I’m gay. I’m a barber.’ I believed him. *** He “began to whimper,” as his head was roughly shaved, “folding his hands in prayer as his hair fell.” He “asked for his mother & cried as he was slapped again.”

You know it’s bad when Venezuela is accusing you of crimes against humanity and kidnapping people
Venezuela's government on Monday characterized the transfer of migrants to El Salvador as "kidnappings" that it plans to challenge as "crimes against humanity" before the United Nations and other international organizations.

We don’t if they were gang members, only that Trump’s DOJ says they were. But they’ve had no trials. They are “accused.” They are “alleged” to be members of a gang that Trump has named. And now they are vanished.

This is an actual nightmare and we should be up in arms.
250 Venezuelans have been disappeared into one of the worst prisons in Central America based on Trump’s invocation of a law only used 3 times in our history - the last time resulted in the Japanese-American internment. These men have had no due process. It’s monstrous.

This is straight up not how measles works. This isn't a political disagreement. This is false facts, and will get people killed. It already is.
RFK Jr: "It used to be that everybody got measles. And the measles gave you lifetime protection against measles infection. The vaccine doesn't do that ... it used to be that very young kids were protected by breast milk. Women who get vaccinated do not provide that level of immunity."

No. Christians feel persecuted because there is a vast media apparatus telling them that they are persecuted. There is no evidence whatsoever of large-scale discrimination against Christians in this country.
Interesting story that gets to the heart of why many Christians feel persecuted in the U.S.: The secular elite find many of their views abhorrent and uncouth

Defending disappearing people while refusing to say “ass” is such a great summary of Johnson
Reporter: What crime did Mahmoud Khalil commit to warrant his arrest and threatened deportation?

Mike Johnson: We are going to arrest your tail and send you home where you belong. This is just getting started. I appreciate free speech, I used to defend it in courts. This is far beyond the pale.

The ADL's turn toward fascism is a betrayal twice over: first, because it throws to the wolves legal protestors who stand for positions the ADL doesn't like. And second, because when the time comes for someone to defend Jews like me, there won't be anyone with moral righteousness left to do it.
BRB, checking the history books to find out whether “tyrant starts redefining peoples’ citizenship status” usually ends well for the Jews
