This is something the Nazis used to do to Jewish children in the camps. It happened to a man I knew when he was a child in Auschwitz. The camp guards thought it was funny as hell.
On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

Worth a read. As a note - it took Norway two weeks to get 'immunity' lifted for their former PM.

Prosecuting ICE is so doable.
NEW — I spoke with Rep. Delia Ramirez (@ramirez.house.gov) about her calling DHS leaders "inheritors of the Klan hood and the slave patrol," the prospect of one day seeing them behind bars, and what it's like to see the public [finally] embrace her long-held dream to abolish ICE.

Our conversation:

These men suffered torture in a Salvadoran prison because the Trump administration denied them due process.

This ruling is a critical victory and step in the right direction.

When they make movies about this in the future they will tone down the cruelty of ICE and border patrol, like Spielberg did with Goeth in Schindler's List, because no one will believe they were actually this monstrous.

This was the night that ICE threw a flash bang at a car containing six children… one of whom was a 6 month old baby who stopped breathing

Then the shot a Venezuelan man in the leg who was running home.

The agents lied. Noem backed up those lies.
