Update: It's December 21st and I haven't gotten a bill. I contacted them about the bill on the 17th and they said they were working on it as the city is behind on meter readings. It's been 52 days since my last meter reading.
The fact that it's December 17th and the city STILL hasn't done a meter reading is rather concerning. The bill I'm about to receive when they finally do is going to be RIDICULOUS! The last meter reading was on October 30th. Anyone else waiting on their HRSD bill?

Interesting, because I am assured by people on both side sides of the aisle that homeless people are not a part of our society, but a social nuisance to be harassed and a great societal danger to be expunged.

I keep getting my pregnant sister to come over by baking. Brownie pudding, birthday cake, peanut butter crème pie, apple crumble, lemon tart, etc. I send that little text half an hour before she gets off work, “btw, I made [TEMPTING DELICIOUSNESS] and there’s some left over.” Works every time.

After 10+ years of having to write out restroom on hall passes, I finally contacted the people in charge of forms and asked if we could add a checkbox for the restroom and the request is now going up the chain. Just...ya know...being the change I wish to see in the world.
