As my MP @stellacreasy.bsky.social I would like you to know these are exactly my thoughts.

I will be furious if Labour MPs remove him.
Do I think Starmer was right in appointing Mandelson? No. Do I think the government should come crashing down to benefit people who have orchestrated Brexit and worked hand in glove with associates of Epstein like Steve Bannon? A RESOUNDING NO.

During a dive last year in the Atlantic Ocean off Argentina, researchers documented a giant phantom jelly, a deep-sea species rarely seen since it was discovered a little over a century ago. “There was a mixture of excitement and disbelief,” said one marine biologist. trib.al/HfkWfp4

I mean, it’s not a “major blow” is it @theguardian.com if, as you write here, they have dominated all year without using said helmet?!
Team GB’s best chance of Winter Olympics gold dealt major blow after helmets ban
Great Britain’s best hopes of a gold medal at these Winter Olympics have suffered a significant blow after their aerodynamic helmets were banned for being the wrong shape

Ever since his childhood visits to Kensington Gardens, Paul Nash had been drawn to trees - they held a spiritual quality for him. The tranquillity in this work from 1911, is heightened by the inclusion of birds which he saw as an emblem of freedom.

A manual for ICE's immigrant-targeting computer system, Palantir ELITE, was leaked today.

Let's look at it, then step back to evaluate how far we've come along a dangerous road and where that road might take us. 🧵
Here is the User Guide for ELITE, the Tool Palantir Made for ICE
404 Media is publishing a version of the user guide for ELITE, which lets ICE bring up dossiers on individual people and provides a “confidence score” of their address.

Odd to see use of the Parliament Acts described as “unconstitutional”, even “unprecedented”.
It’s not unconstitutional for the Lords to vote against a Bill. Nor is it unconstitutional for the Parliament Acts to be used to pass a Bill approved by the Commons alone.
That is actually the constitution

I love Kestrels. My absolute favourite birdie, especially Lady Kestrels.
Another shot of the kestrel from yesterday.

I do not understand why the A.I. people do not get it. We do NOT want something that does our work for us. We want TOOLS that allow us to do our work. If you can't understand the difference, you shouldn't be pushing this shit on us.

This is why Burnham needs to F off. He is not what the focus or priority is. I know he finds this shocking but..

I love that whilst Andy Burnham creating nonsense our Mayor is getting on with the job, as he always does.

Regardless of what nonsense goes on in the world.
Canary Wharf is lighting up the season once again as its Winter Lights festival returns for its 10th edition.

Running until the end of Jan, it’s an opportunity for Londoners and visitors to see light installations from world-renowned artists. And it’s completely free:

This is awful. From one nurse in 🇬🇧 to another in US, I am so sad and sorry about this.
Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him.

White. Hot. Rage.

Well this is bollocks.

I can see my life lived in my bookshelves.

Reading is a lifelong journey and I know where I was and what I was doing attached to most books.

Important feelings and memories.
- There are vastly more interesting things to put on bookshelves than books (2)
I'm not suggesting you should have no books at home -- just that giving over your living-room walls to books is meh. A fun object, a picture or a piece of art is better to display than some novels you read six years ago.

Great piece on “airport book brain” - the tendency of politicians to swallow simplistic solutions. Latest example the Jonathan Haidt book shaping policy on teens and social media

I find them both incredibly grating.

Not sure why you describe them as rigorous either
