Rightly lots of debates about growth this weekend - rightly because it was low productivity growth that saw wages entirely flatline during the 2010s.

Well this is odd. An hour ago I googled taskmaster to look for the home game for xmas. And now this appears on the discover time line.

Don’t tell me bluesky are listening in on my phone as well?!
Taskmaster is the most consistently funny show on television/streaming. This last season was unexpectedly fantastic.

President Zelenskyy is thanking again other leaders for their support. How about we all thank him and all Ukrainians. They are fighting Putin and keeping us safe. If Putin wins we all lose and Europe is finished.

Thank you President Zelenskyy and all Ukrainians 🇺🇦🙏

I can’t stand this patronising Sat AM output on Radio 4.

Its for R5 or R2.

We don’t come to R4 for this shite: stop

Meanwhile you are all ignoring that Russia is in your White House.

Or maybe you just don’t care.

Europe does though. I don’t think Americans realise what the fallout is going to be. Or probably don’t care.
JD Vance, Stephen Miller, and Elise Stefanik, to name a few, must be cringing watching Trump praise Zohran Mamdani.

The GOP is in chaos.

Now is the time for Dem leadership to unite our big tent and produce a bold, progressive plan for the future of our country.

Actually quite impressed with the newly independent The Observer. Shame it’s not 7/7 or I might actually £…

The BBC is in crisis with many calling for it to be broken up and political attacks at home and abroad - time to save it from interference by partisan elites by putting the public truly at the heart of our public service broadcasting and mutualising it. Democracy not Donald must be its future!

It takes an obscene amount of hubris to lecture the BBC when you have The Telegraph’s record on truth-telling.

Some of the paper’s errors this year are so bad they’re almost laughable 👇🏻

Maybe Keir should demand the heads of major US news networks any time they imply Britain is on the brink of civil war or that we live under sharia law. Or does it not work both ways?

What as my MP are you doing to protect the BBCs independence @stellacreasy.bsky.social ?

It really is just outrageous that MAGA wankers, The Daily Telegraph and Robbie Gibb and all those trying to undermine the BBC - which is overly sympathetic to them - have forced this? How dare they? What is the UK Government doing here?

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

I have been saying a while, Manchester has become the London of the North West - sucked the life out of surrounding towns and Cities.

I never thought I would dislike the place but there has been zero benefit to the wider region.
