Trying to make "theater kid" a slur is ridiculous. I was prouder than ANYTHING of being a theater kid in high school. No amount of linguistic gymnastics is gonna change that for me.

After wondering ever since I saw the film in the theater as a 9-y/o in 1982, I have finally figured out that the unfamiliar-looking Enterprise flyby in AIRPLANE II: THE SEQUEL is from "Operation -- Annihilate!", and that specific footage (including the starfield) was only used in that episode.
