One by one, Europeans mentioned in the Epstein files who still hold political office are beginning to resign or are being forced out of office.

Meanwhile, ruled by an administration almost entirely made up of Epstein associates, the US carries on as if nothing really happened.

A white man in Dillard, Oregon was arrested for stopping people on the freeway to demand at gunpoint that they tell him if they were citizens. He shot and missed one + attempted to get another in his truck to bring to police. Before his spree, he called local PD to complain about "foreign" people.

I get that Mayor Wilson wants to keep competent people in charge as long as they're aligned with the vision, but frankly this new map demonstrates that the OPCD director is not aligned with her vision.

We need to create homes that working families can afford. Instead, they downzoned the proposal.

Takeaway:
Any time the Trump administration says "AI" or anything about software or data, what you should hear is "repression as a service"

This has 2 parts:
1. AI as an excuse to consolidate data
2. AI to execute orders that humans would refuse

Fascists quickly tire of safeguards. Three days ago the head of CISA (🤯!!!) got busted circumventing these safety measures, throwing sensitive government documents into the growing pile of privatized data.

The interim director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency triggered an internal cybersecurity warning with the uploads — and a DHS-level damage assessment.

The theft isn't over. ICE thugs are now demanding state-level voter data at gunpoint. If they get that data, presumably, they will throw it into the mix with all the other stolen data available to repression as a service.

The aggregation of 22 separate federal agencies, most of which had nothing to do with each other, into DHS was the second most corrosive post-9/11 action taken (after the passing of the PATRIOT Act) and I will die on that hill
Amid growing calls for the abolition of ICE, Rep. Delia Ramirez is calling for the entire DHS to be dismantled. Highlighting how much experience the officers who killed Renee Good and Alex Pretti had, Ramirez said, “DHS was built to violate our rights and has been empowered to act with impunity.”
House Democrat Says Abolishing ICE Isn’t Enough — DHS Must Go, Too
“The problem isn’t ‘training.’ DHS was built to violate our rights,” said Rep. Delia C. Ramirez.

brilliant work here
recently learned about “dek bass”, a sound system culture in rural West Bengal, using cassette decks and homemade systems, and it’s remarkable because 1) the music and equipment are sick and 2) the DJ always looks like he’s being briefed on a national security issue

1. The thing about science that these jokers don't understand is that science cannot be vibe-coded.

Whatever its flaws, the point with vibe coding is that you're trying to quickly make something that sorta works, where you can immediately sorta see if it sorta works and then sorta use it.
“The idea is to put ChatGPT front and center inside software that scientists use to write up their work in much the same way that chatbots are now embedded into popular programming editors.

It’s vibe coding, but for science.”
OpenAI’s latest product lets you vibe code science
Prism is a ChatGPT-powered text editor that automates much of the work involved in writing scientific papers.

Congresswoman @ayannapressley.bsky.social has been trying to get qualified immunity eliminated her ENTIRE career.

What the fuck is it going to take to get people to listen to her?
There's no ICE accountability without ending qualified immunity.

They're murdering people. There won't be justice for the lives they've stolen, but there must be accountability.

My bill with @markey.senate.gov would ensure families can sue the agents murdering their loved ones.

Remember videos of people in camps protesting and rioting? Even if Bovino is out, even if somehow Noem and Miller are forced to resign (still a longshot) people are still being brutalized. It's not about a few figureheads. It's about the wider system.
DHS is still disappearing people nationwide and it is not stopping because of fall boy Bovino reportedly being flicked aside. Camps are still being filled for profit.
Again it's good Bovino got pulled back. It's good there might be even a temporary drawdown in Minneapolis. But DHS is surging in Maine. It is grabbing people around Los Angeles. They aren't stopping. Maybe they're scared but they aren't stopping. The American Dirty War continues.
