This morning, ICE agents in Minneapolis pinned an individual to the ground and executed them. The person was subdued and surrounded. The ICE agents emptied a clip into the person's body as they lay on the ground. Then a number fled the scene. They murdered this individual in broad daylight. Enough.

Every day some story breaks me some. Today it’s the guy who approached parents at a school patrol, told them he was with Indivisible, and asked about how the patrol system works. The parents gave vague answers, followed him back to his car — and of course it was ICE.

Creative work in the United States is no longer sustainable. Unlike other countries, there’s really no public funding. So, most folks that can afford to be artists nowadays already have wealth. Obviously that’ll skew their pov & subject matter.

The thing that really makes Minneapolis different, other than the fact that they straight up murdered someone, is that they've dropped all pretense that this is just about immigration. The state has declared war on its own people, or at least those people who live in cities.
