Urban foxes and raccoons are changing before our eyes. Studies show city populations now have shorter snouts – a classic sign of early domestication. As ecosystems collapse, some species are adapting to human-made worlds. Others are dying out, fast.

At a glance, Palantir sells software. In practice, it provides government with the infrastructure to monitor, investigate and target people at scale.

Follow the money and kick it out!

#TaxTheRich
Kick them out of politics and hold them to account for their corruption and their crimes and complicity in #Genocide and #Ecocide and their part in deflecting blame onto those least responsible for the wars and inequality they create.

#EndInequality
This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office.
2) Elected officials rewrite the rules in the donors' favor.
3) Donors make a huge profit.
4) Repeat.

For the sake of democracy, we must get Big Money out of politics.

Good question, @bylinetimes.bsky.social!

Why indeed does Palantir "retain access to the UK's most sensitive national security infrastructure" and for that matter, to #OurNHS and to all of our private and confidential medical data too?

One lesson from the Epstein–Mandelson affair is that we need to stop routinely rehabilitating political careers after serious scandals.

When politicians knowingly engage in grave ethical wrongdoing, that should permanently end their political careers. Being "talented" should not override that.

Know the Nazis learnt from US & UK.

Know that Trump and ICE are buying up warehouses to convert to detention centres.

Know that the UK refers to #DisabledPeople as stock and to moving them into 'care' as "warehousing".

For much of the 20th Century, the forces of violence and oppression claimed their way was "natural." (It's "natural" for men to be in charge; it's "natural" for whites to be in charge; it's "natural" for man to dominate nature).

Seems like now they're saying their way is "realistic."
Funny how often throughout history when bad people want to justify doing bad things, they call it 'realism.'

As we breach 1.5 °C, we must replace temperature limits with clean-energy targets

Never forget.
First they came for #DisabledPeople, then other marginalised & othered groups and long before the final solution, they'd already targeted Jews for 7+ years, stripping them of citizenship, etc.
Then any and everyone became potential targets in Nazi Germany, as now, in Nazi UK & Nazi US.
Every time history tilts toward authoritarianism, the same groups are targeted first:

disabled people, migrants, minorities, the poor, artists, writers.

If you think you’re immune, you haven’t been paying attention.
