Correct
A book can survive a lousy title or a lousy jacket design but not, I think, both.

I just finished a rewatch of Orphan Black. Still not convinced that there weren’t multiple actresses playing all the clones. (There are not enough superlatives for Tatiana Maslany.)

I’m definitely contributing to the Orphan Black ranking!
Couple of things from Nielsen's latest ratings report: Tyler Perry's Beauty in Black has over 1 billion minutes viewed on Netflix, yet I haven't seen much press talking about it. And BBC America's Canadian sci fi series Orphan Black, which ended in 2017, is ranked 7th overall.

the thing to understand is that for many people the violence of order maintenance is simply not seen as violence in the first place

"I think it's worth to have a cost of unfortunately some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the 2nd Amendment.”

Nah.

Violence is never worth its cost.

Never.

Lord, have mercy.

The problem with allowing guns everywhere is that no one is safe anywhere.

Sit with this, then read the whole thread.

Then go throw something.

We won’t notice it at first

Maybe an outbreak of cholera in southwest Kansas goes undetected

Perhaps the number of flu related deaths ticks up just a bit each year

But-ultimately, inexorably-the destruction of the CDC will lead to countless deaths

All because of two men

remember folks, we cant have gun restrictions because if we do the federal government will occupy our streets, imprison people without due process, ship dissidents to foreign gulags and things of that nature

your intimate partnerships

your children

those two places will show you where your work is undone
