Ah yes, here is more of that "too biased towards trans people" BBC content. Because if I were going to descrive Kellie-Jay Keen, I'd probably use a different description. Maybe the one Wikipedia uses, for instance.

If you're a National Trust member, it's that time of year again: Midnight tonight is the deadline. It's a shame people have to keep doing this to keep a toehold on historical truth in this country, but here we are. Voting link: www.nationaltrust.org.uk/who-we-are/a...

He didn't sleep very well last night. He's overtired and a bit cranky. We gave him some milk and are trying to get him to take a nap.
VARNEY: Trump announced all trade talks with Canada have been cut off because of a fake ad showing Reagan badmouthing tariffs.

HASSETT: The president I'm sure has his reasons. Sometimes when you're frustrated a timeout is the right call. It's probably a good time to take a break.

Hang on, this lad did 600 unpaid hours for Waitrose? Even at minimum wage that's over seven thousand pounds that he never received.

Seems like there should be a term for that.

what the fuck
Yeah, this was in Dallas in the late 90s, but we had 4 armed men come in with real unloaded guns, and take a few of us aside. Said they were here to kill believers, and asked if we were believers. After we all said "Yes", they unmasked themselves as dads from church.

It would be so easy to start falling for left-wing conspiracy theories. They make the world seem more comforting.

And yet...

Reading up on Groyper culture and things like that has made me feel more stupid and I can sense that my friends half think I'm talking nonsense or at least exaggerating when explaining it to them.
The reporting on Charlie Kirk’s killer in the UK & US highlights again how fundamentally ill equipped mainstream media is to report on political violence in the digital age.

They do not know anything about online far right meme culture & it’s starting to do real harm. #r4today

Ah yes if black and brown people throw a party we need to scan their faces.

White supremacists organising a hate march do not need to worry about their privacy. The police have them covered.

This btw is also why everyone arguing for digital id in this country is either naive or dangerous.

Oh no I have argued back against someone I follow on Facebook why do I do these things to myself?

And in the UK Labour are doing exactly the same thing with Reform, with exactly the same results.
one fact that consistently elides the centrist mind is that Democrats tried flanking Trump on immigration policy, to literally zero political benefit.
The biggest problem American liberalism faces is how to maintain high levels of immigration while respecting the democratic will of the public. I have an idea.

My expectations of the New York Times are pretty low nowadays, but I thought they'd at least be able to tell what country Glasgow is in.

Graham Linehan once took issue with a sketch I did and tweeted about me referring to me not by name but only as to who my boyfriend was and called me an NPC ( non player character.) It was misogynistic and his “standing up for women” schtick is baloney.

Can we not do the "everything a bad person works on must also be bad and have been bad" thing again? Because it's not true and it's damaging for future attempts to catch bad people.

1. Father Ted was very funny.
2. Toy Story is a great film.
3. Kevin Spacey is a great actor.

"I'm just double checking to see if the non-white person living in Britain is actually British. No, I'm not racist."
I know I'm actually doing the exact opposite. I'm saying you become a member of a nation when you decide you want to become a citizen of that Nation.

So if you're going to assert to me " this person was British" I'm going to ask that person if they were British

American trying not to be racist keeps being extremely racist.
Of all the strange interactions I've ever had on social media

A British person telling me that chicken ticket masala is British cuisine is really really high up there.
