I'm even more surprised that they've forgotten reboots exist on a franchise that has had multiple soft reboots and one extemely loud and obvious "this is a reboot everyone!" film the last time they changed lead actors.

That seems like nitpicking over the use of the word "promotion". If you don't think that the BBC helped promote them because they had "no reason" to, what was the basis of your complaint?

Want to mention the support she's given Tommy Robinson? The interviews she's given to white supremacist groups? The fact that LGBT groups across the world have condemned her? No?
Maybe you could at least mention some of these "women's rights" she has defended.

If you're talking about the recent by-election, Reform came second with 36% of the vote. That's not being "rejected". That's being the second most popular party in the area.
And do you think they'd have gotten that high without relentless promotion on the BBC?

This happens every time I see someone complaining about self service checkouts being bad because they remove the human interactions and I'm like yes? I am entirely happy with that. I'm just popping in to buy a sandwich for lunch, I do not need a 20 second fake friend to talk to.

Because I know they're only doing it because they're being forced to do it. It's an entirely artificial interaction that they don't want and I don't enjoy.

I guess you could say that no-one considering colour is a good thing technically, but it can lead to things like this which... urgh.

Also, yes, people absolutely should be encouraged and rewarded for changing their minds about things, but I'm really struggling to imagine a situation where someone was an enthusiastic Trump supporter in 2021 and had since gone "wow, turns out that Trump guy is a bit of a wrong'un. My bad."

True. I am almost certainly overthinking it. Still, dude has murdered children. If he hates Nazis I think it would just be because he finds it funny to hate them.

The Joker thing never really worked for me either. The Joker is a homical maniac who has a murder count in the hundreds at the very least. Like, am I supposed to cheer on Harold Shipman if he says "down with facism?"

I have the impression of the Combiners not really being used much in Marvel compared to season 2 and 3 of the cartoon focussing on them repeatedly.
