Its a start, not the end
I had the chance to actually talk to Jesse for a piece following the Juan Soto trade. He was so easy to relate to, to share thoughts, find common discourse, that even if he doesnt feel it tonight im confident that where he lands professionally, they will be extremely lucky to have him.
Well, turns out this was my last story for The Washington Post, 2,011 bylines later.
For nine years, it was a dream in every sense of the word, no matter how many of the company's leaders tried to make it otherwise. Thanks for being part of the ride.
