I have impression that many people deriding deal secretly hope it will fail so that they will be proved right; even though that means more death and destruction for Pal’ns. I agree with most of the comments about what “should” be. But, in imperfect world with only bad options, this is least bad.

fundamentally the problem is that if you think "hotels are where I stay on holiday and I like being on holiday so living in a hotel must be fun and it's not fair others get to do it and not me" then you have the intellectual reasoning of a little child and it's going to be hard to engage with you

I think broadly speaking Jake Berry’s defection is still a net positive for Reform but I wonder when the point will come where accepting a shedload more of failed Tory politicians closely associated with the last 14 years will start to become less palatable.
