Diageo employees in Dublin can now take advantage of a “try before you buy” scheme featuring 40 electric bicycles, allowing them to borrow an e-bike. Employees have access to the bikes for a four-month trial period before deciding whether to purchase their preferred bike through the Bike-to-Work scheme. The company said that its staff can now choose from four e-bike models, with child seats and accessories available.

Why don't bloody cyclists use the cycle-lanes?

This is the new cycle-lane on E Wall Rd. It's like this all the time. This is a common issue with cycle-lanes all across the city. The drainage here was never adequate. Who audits these projects to check if they're constructed correctly?

Emergency services attended the scene of a collision involving a truck driver and a person on a bicycle at Dolphin’s Barn Bridge in Dublin 8. The collision happened as the truck driver made a left turn from Dolphins Road, over the Royal Canal and onto Dolphin’s Barn.

The IBikeBoo cycle is being organised by campaign group I Bike Dublin, and Alternative Dublin City, a collective of artists, guides, and photographers. The latter is sponsoring a €100 voucher for the best costume.

Work has officially begun on a new pedestrian and cycle bridge over the River Liffey in Dublin.

The Commemorative Bridge will be located in the Irish National War Memorial Gardens in Islandbridge and will link the gardens to the Chapelizod Road, which runs along the Phoenix Park

If you rent, you have no say in your home’s heating system & insulation level, but you do pay the bills. Minimum Building Energy Rating (BER) rules would change that—a Bill on this is being debated in the Dáil soon.
