Dublin City's deputy lord mayor has said that the operating hours of 24/7 bus lanes should be reduced because they are not needed on weekends, as he doesn't see congestion then, but in the same breath, he also said that the bus lanes are adding to congestion on weekends. The deputy lord mayor, Cllr John Stephens (Fianna Fáil), said: "A lot of residents of the Navan Road have asked me 'Do we need a bus line in operation for seven days a week, 24/7?'"

Dublin City Council has suspended use of X following the Green Party emergency motion last week. It'll come to our Protocol Committee next week and myself and other Greens will be recommending leaving it completely.

I made this work in 2012. I filled a humming top with plastic objects found in the stomach of one albatross chick on Kure Atoll (Northwestern Hawaiian islands). 340 g. Cigarette lighters, plastic fragments, toys and mainly bottle caps.
