I have questions for my congressional delegation, who seem to be on board with the theory that crimes and corruption are sufficient to remove a foreign head of state but not worth impeachment and removal of their own.
If you are a foreign president who commits crimes overseas, America will come get you, arrest you, and lock you up.
But if you are a US president who commits crimes here in the United States, America will give you immunity from prosecution, reelect you, and bribe you with billions of dollars.

If Trump and his cabal want to pretend this was about law enforcement executing a warrant, with the military just protecting the LEOs, then this puts their "police" action right up there with the MOVE bombing and Waco disasters.

Their messaging is so fucking incoherent. Maduro was an illegitimate leader who lost in 2024, which is why we're replacing him with his VP instead of the person who won in 2024. We did this to stop fentanyl, which is why he's indicted for cocaine.
