Flashing back to the distain, dismissal and outright venom the Mayor and some Councillors spit at the Charge and PWHL reps during committee.

I love that Poilievre went into his big chance to defeat the govt full elbows down.

Who’s going to ask the Mayor if he or his OSEG buds have chipped in ? @ctvnewsottawa.bsky.social
As the Germans wisely said. "We don't have charities, because the need for charity is a failure of the obligations of a good government."
Thank you Mayor.

I would encourage you to share this donation link with friends and family. Every penny counts! Our crumbling infrastructure won't pay for itself.

I love how the Mayor of Lansdowne just disappears on this and many other issues. No personal political advantage to be gained = DGAF.
Because *of course* Ford his Conservative government aren't meeting their public health funding commitments to our city. Why am I surprised by this? I should not be surprised by this. 😑

Hope tomorrow is garbage day at Stornoway ‘cause there’s going to be a lot of smashed furniture and broken dishes by morning.
3 MPs have now quit on Pierre Poilievre: Alain Rayes to sit as an Independent; d’Entremont to the Liberals; Jeneroux to leave the House. #cdnpoli

The Mayor and Councillors treating the PWHL and Charge – the only true rent paying tenant of the arena – as an adversary put their corruption and hypocrisy on full public display. Frankly, if I owned the Charge, I’d be starting a process to move the team after today’s shitshow. #Lansdowne
Now listening to OSEG extravaganza. It's something for sure.

Charge leadership is hella aggressive. Also seems like 99% of the convo so-far should have been elsewhere before hand.

It is journalistic malpractice for CTV/BellMedia’s Vassy Kapelos to have the Cdn Automobile Mfgrs Association lobbyist on her show slagging the govt’s response to Stellantis and GM shuttering plants w/o disclosing he reps ONLY the Detroit big three. Really appalling journalism.

The words “Ford plans changes” have become triggering for millions of Ontarians.
The Ontario government plans to change the Clean Water Act, put in place after contaminated water in Walkerton killed seven people in 2000. It says the goal is to support “housing and infrastructure development” while keeping “strong protections" for drinking water. thenarwhal.ca/ontario-bill...

The car crisis tops today’s EU summit but leaders keep staring at the wrong problem

The issue isn’t the 2035 engine ban - it’s demand falling off a cliff today

What make Mitch Owens so deadly?

1. Drivers
2. It’s the de facto ring road. Viz: Amazon trucks by the dozens go 416, thru Manotick & rip to 417 at Boundary & same path reversed.
4. Drivers
5. Council refuses to limit/stop insane truck volumes thru Manotick.
