I'm trying to get people to look at IPHROS, Integrated Pumped Hydro Reverse Osmosis System, which combines Seawater Pumped Hydro Storage with a RO Desalination plant. It uses gravity to improve efficiencies in RO and the reservoir outflows dilute the brine.

I’m so sick of people throwing their hands up and saying abolishing ICE isn’t possible right now. Abolishing ICE is extremely popular and calls to do so will only continue to grow, meanwhile conservatives manage to do incredibly unpopular things all the time because nobody stops them

there is already more than enough evidence from multiple sources to demonstrate that medical transition benefits trans youth and the denial of that transition greatly harms them. there is no purpose for this study to be structured in this way other than to torture trans kids

This is solid information but what's hidden in the data for "good states" is that Black, immigrant, and indigenous families still have similar "disparity" ratios. "We know that here in MN we're good at caring for patients unless they're Black" - CNO during orientation at my last hospital gig.
It is those who live in the states in the South and Midwest that ALREADY have the HIGHEST infant mortality and black babies who will suffer disproportionately as their state governors will like accede to ACIP's recommendation. 2/

A prosecution attempt is absolutely critical to make ICE agents think twice about committing murder. If this guy isn’t prosecuted by a blue state when it’s on video like this we could see hundreds of these incidents.
