We're sleep walking into a disaster much larger than Iraq and not enough people think it's going to happen this weekend because everyone was told he hates wars likes he hated the carried interest loophole.
I know we’re all just used to Trump living in his Mad King era, but this isn’t how this is supposed to work at all. The entire reason the Constitution puts this power in Congress is so that whether or not we go into a war of choice isn’t just one man’s decision.

This is stupid!
A critique I hear of me sometimes is that I don’t believe in changing public opinion.

What I would say is that I don’t really think *working politicians* should be focused on changing opinion, that’s the job for everyone else — go out and persuade someone!

Now we’ve got mumps rolling up.

Expect more.

To save lives, Congress must pass a new assault weapons ban.

ICE using the same ruse that Ted Bundy used to kidnap people should tell you something.
CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.

Brutal 2025 number.

And for context, the 130,000 for last month (also subject to revision), would have been considered an absolutely crap number under Biden, who averaged 336,000 per month over his term.
As expected, the annual benchmark revisions sharply lowered estimates of job growth in earlier months. BLS now says we added just 181,000 jobs in 2025, down from the earlier estimate of 584,000. #NumbersDay

Those reasons have been evaporating over the past 10 years.
