Even when November SNAP benefits are restored, don't forget that new work requirements will considerably shrink the eligible population.

Benefit amounts (under a recalculated Thrifty Food Plan) are also being targeted.

Watch the space.

How Biden’s Thrifty Food Plan Change Broke SNAP’s Cost Controls
A 2021 “technical reevaluation” turned into a $180 billion entitlement expansion. Congress should reverse it.

This is absurd and plainly illegal. The courts should reject this fringe theory.

But the real news here is Trump will do anything to try to kill an agency that has returned more than $21 billion to scammed Americans, but he'll do nothing to lower costs for American families.

We set out to find the real reason pickleball noise is so annoying
The racket from some 70,000 pickleball courts across the United States has generated bitter fights. If we understand the sound, can we learn to ignore it?

Oh, I love this. A new species of sea anemone was discovered recently that parks itself on top of a hermit crab shell like a hat. It seems to feed partly off the crab's faeces, but it also excretes a hard shell that extends the crab's home. In return, it's carried around the seafloor like a king.
