The spirit of “Just shut up and let us do our jobs” is at odds with the spirit of community policing. It’s proof they also don’t believe in community policing, because that means less power for them.
There are many causes for this attitude (which is present among local cops too), but I think one big one is the supercitizen/baronial class issue.

Stephen Miller and Russ Vought are the two pure ideologues driving the agendas of white nationalism and destroying public services, respectively. They need to be the top political targets. Saying “Kristi Noem must resign” is a sideshow. Prosecute the whole cabinet later, sure, but please focus now.

I guess I’ve been a jr. #prepper for a few years, well, essentially all of the DJT era. I got into buying physical silver a few years ago because I thought it was madness that Bitcoin was becoming institutionally accepted. It’s wild that silver went from $22-30 an oz to $111/oz
I really can’t exaggerate how completely weird this move in silver is. Markets just don’t go parabolic for months at a time. Speaks to the fundamental cause of this move in silver: momentum and nobody with a balance sheet to take the other side of the move.
