Why was #CelebrityTraitors one big SUV ad?!

SUVs like the Defender are three times more likely to kill a child under 10 in the event of a crash, compared to a small car.

This form of advertising needs challenging. #AirPollution #RoadDanger
Is the Land Rover Defender the biggest star of Celebrity Traitors?
Is the Land Rover Defender the Celebrity Traitors' biggest star? With almost 12million people tuning in, search results have surged 35% for JLR's best selling 110.

Rosa, our little Orbea Katu cargo bike, has done 5000km! That's 5000km of shopping, vet visits and errands done on a cleaner, kinder, friendlier mode of transport than a car.

I've had such a crap commute this morning, that I've written to my MP and Councillor.

I'm just a bloke trying to get to work, and I want to go home to my kids at the end of the day.

Our road culture is fundamentally broken.

Every so often, I have the enormous privilege of providing vocals for albums. It's always fun singing with #Lofter - the new album dropped on #bandcamp today!

A typical European car is parked 92% of the time. It spends 1/5th of its driving time looking for parking. Its 5 seats only move 1.5 people. 86% of its fuel never reaches the wheels, and most of the energy that does, moves the car, not the people.

Sound efficient?

And when I reflect on it, giving out nice things freely to anyone who asks seems pretty Christlike.

I wasn't allowed to have anything to do with Hallowe'en as a child, and as an evangelical adult, I had a very particular worldview, which didn't do me or those around me many favours. The last decade or so has seen significant deconstruction and faith shift for me. I am making up for lost time.

Hey motorcylist, I get that you want to secure your bike while it's parked, but locking it to *both* available cycle hoops, rendering it pretty much impossible for us to lock up our arguably easier to nick bikes seems kinda selfish to me. Maybe think about sharing nicely in future.

Bike lanes have become the most visible sign of progress signaling that urban planners are acknowledging those who travel without cars.

Yes - though we were on that train for a short enough journey that it didn't seem worth the hassle!

I often have the same thought about the people responsible for much of our cycle infrastructure!

The conductor was nice at least, and obviously recognised the issue! And we were able to remove our panniers etc to make space in the corridor, but lots of people can't do that. It's no way to encourage more sustainable travel!

We've stayed with my parents en route to our half term Bristol trip, and my mother has packed us last night's leftovers for train snacks.
