This is exactly what the recent Trump-BBC 'scandal' was designed to achieve. The BBC is now self-censoring criticisms of Trump in the name of "impartiality"
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

There are three things Rachel Reeves should bear in mind tomorrow: obscene wealth doesn't 'trickle down', tax cuts don't 'pay for themselves' and the private sector isn't 'more efficient'

Talking to an older friend at brekko, discussing his replacement hip operation a number of years ago.

My partner opens Facebook on her phone 20 mins later to find hip op ads.

Why do people continue to trust Meta and allow software on their devices?

Same here. I flew two legs via AMS once to avoid RA.

Also regularly flew direct to alternative city and took the train.

If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

I was in a nowhere town in Mississippi a number of years ago. My pal was wearing a pink rugby shirt.

Men were blowing their massive SUV truck horns, shouting and gesticulating angrily from their cabs. We decided to retreat due to risk of a drive by.

That’s how fragile US masculinity is.

i’ll be honest, “i have become opposed to the president so, instead of sticking around to vote against his bad ideas, i am resigning so someone else can come in and vote for his bad ideas” is a position i struggle to understand

Looking the prices of the beers and knowing my Yorkshire kin, that is very surprising.

My old mate used to say that the Yorkshire motto was “How Bloody Much!?”

Just finished this remarkable book.
I’m not a gamer, but i grew up in the early days of gaming.
I found the story to be engaging and moving.

“It’s not a romance, but it is about love”.
