if you were "booted from otg organiser Signal groups before" then you know that the paranoiacs and self-obsessed wreckers will absolutely fuck everything up at a time where fucking up is simply not acceptable.
I have been booted from otg organizer Signal groups before, *I* know I wasn't a risk to the chat but also even that sense of suspicion within a chat can cause folks to lip zip in ways that are counter productive.

Talking about getting kicked out of signal chats is not a valid security concern and pretending otherwise is ridiculous LARP behaviour. Stancil was extremely clearly kicked out over someone's personal grievances, especially when virtually every such situation like this is over personal grievances.
I say this as someone who has to operate as a public target of the state - the reaction to get online to talk about getting kicked out of signal chats is *literally* the reason for opsec concerns.

I’m not totally sure how to address this but apparently I’m getting kicked out of ICE rapid response for the moment because I’m allowing press ridealongs, with an extremely strict condition that no other observer be identified. Lots of observers have allowed ridealongs and they benefit us.

I've done anonymous antifascism for over a decade now and I'm going to say kicking Will Stancil out of RR groups abruptly is very obviously about someone(s) trying to seize control of the movement messaging for their own personal ends and not at all about security.
