I am very happy to say that my Roast Chicken, Basil and Bulgur Wheat Salad – a summer feast in itself – makes its debut on nigella.com, and in a starring role: that’s to say, it’s #RecipeOfTheDay! www.nigella.com/recipes/roas...
Timeline cleanse: Insta video of Allen Dershowitz being told by Martha's Vineyard police to stop harassing vendors or be charged with trespassing after three different sellers refused him service. 1/3
Just finished two amazing slices at this Brooklyn pizza shop and I hear the guy in the kitchen say “my stomach’s not doing too good” and all I could think of was this Seinfeld episode. youtu.be/mU9o4s5nTa0?...

In the spring of 2008, I feared America was on the verge of war with Iran — and, believing that it’s good style to get to know people before you bomb them, I made “Rick Steves’ Iran,” a one-hour special that could (and would) only debut on PBS. Sadly, this special has become pertinent again today.

Way back in 2010 when Haiti was devastated by an earthquake, I wanted to find a way to help. I had some very long and intense conversations with a dear friend about the ethics of corporate fundraising, and how it was often a veneer for just SELLING MORE STUFF.

"They can’t do that, can they, all this stuff they’ve been doing since the fire? Surely, we have emergency brakes to stop these kinds of things. Someone will intervene. I would look into who that is supposed to be exactly, but this glockenspiel isn’t going to tune itself."

I understand why it's like this, but I will never forgive the web for shifting to a form where the two paragraphs of information I need only exist as a ten-minute video.

In that unsettling liminal space after finishing a super intense project and excited about the prospect of working on something new but not really sure what that next thing ought to be.

Kind of crazy to think that my first commit for what's now SpaceBlender was a little over 7 years ago and we just released it today! The working title was "Ambient", then "Ambient 1" and "Ambient 2" until just a few months ago. www.soundtoys.com/product/spac...#SlowPlugIns

If you've never seen Bob Vylan live, they do a proper short yoga class with affirmations and everything before launching into songs about murdering the queen, it's brilliant
We were wondering about the lack of social commentary at Coachella, and then caught Bob Vylan, one of my favorite new discoveries at the festival, and they pretty much laid it all out. Another great reason to support independent artists.
