transphobes using money and power to bully little kids is absolutely no different from mobs turning up to intimidate refugee families, and you should treat anyone who so much as excuses either of these things with complete contempt

If you think that the current state of trans healthcare in the UK is because of concern or caution, I'd encourage you to think again.

It's not medically informed, it's a reactionary response to transphobic bigotry whipped up into a frenzy over the past few years.

And it costs lives.

'conservatives' are a clear and present danger to the future existence of humanity
Lord Malcolm Offord of Garvel – the Scottish Tory treasurer – will join a panel hosted by "climate denial" group the Global Warming Policy Foundation (GWPF) at the Conservative party conference in Manchester next week.

Kair Starmer simply cannot continue as Prime Minister. He is entirely unprepared for this political moment, and is handing the country to Reform on a platter.

No matter your politics, you would have to be a fool to support this inept man as PM.
Keir Starmer’s spokesperson asked for the PM's response to Nigel Farage’s plan to deport hundreds of thousands of people living and working completely legally in the UK, replies that he thinks it is “unworkable” and “unfunded”.

So his objection is that they’ve got their sums wrong

It is over for the genocide deniers.

Even the BBC is now splashing on the UN commission of inquiry concluding that Israel has committed genocide.

Those who supported Israel's onslaught:

You backed a genocide.

You will never scrub the shame away.

It's really impossible to explain how overwhelmingly terrifying it is being a trans person right now. They are looking for any and every excuse to come after us.
in america, simply living with someone who might possibly be trans is terrorism now. everyone sees what their going to try to do now right

The "debate" over trans rights as conducted in our newspapers and on social media is deliberately designed to give the impression of an overwhelming consensus in favour of trans exclusion and hate. Let this be a reminder that that impression is a false one. The motion passed *unanimously*.

Bridget Phillipson is running to become Labour's deputy leader. In her woeful response to the Supreme Court ruling, in her appointment of the overtly anti-trans Mary-Ann Stephenson as chair of the EHRC, and in her regular meetings with hate groups like Sex Matters, she has proved herself unfit.

Is there like a BBC Bitesize for a blood test? Like how do you study for it? If you fail do they just take all your blood away on the spot or is there a grace period to get your affairs in order? I'm freaking out.

This EHRC guidance is designed to push trans people out of public life, making it nearly impossible for them to leave their homes.

And this onslaught doesn't just hurt our trans siblings. Cis women who don't conform to gender stereotypes are already under attack too.

UK Ministers must reject it.

Yet transgender people are so dehumanized in society, casual abuse of us so normalized, that if the victim is trans? Then cisgender people don't even seem to recognize what would plainly be sexual harassment and attempts at sexual humiliation if the same abuse had been directed at them.

Liberals are starting to say shit like, "trans people asked for too much too fast," and I'll remind your souless asses that we actually didn't ask for anything. we were minding our own business and quietly improving our healthcare and you (cis) decided to do a pogrom against us for no reason.

I was going to suggest that the latest flaggy image of Mr Starmer was probably photoshopped by someone who is hostile to Mr Starmer, but tbh you could say that about any image of Mr Starmer.

It seems quite possible that the man only exists as a collage of hostile Photoshopped images of himself.

Fundamentally, we must acknowledge that the people who stirred up anti-trans prejudice don't have "reasonable concerns" and have no interest in any compromise that lets trans people "live their lives with dignity and in a safe and accepted way". That's the very opposite of their goal.
