Things are beyond intense out there. A lot of people are wondering how to build community, plug in, and make change. Not everyone is extroverted and comfortable being in crowds or talking on the phone or video, which are traditional modes of activism.

Late to the party here...excited to have teamed up with @sarahesteinberg.bsky.social for this project. As Sarah said, it feels important to be working on something that features #transrights, #bookbans, and #disabilityjustice. So few things feature masked folks anymore and we aim to change that!
Just about to upload a thing with @katrinadreamer.bsky.social for @kidscomicsunite.bsky.social Pitchfest... so no #kidlitartpostcard specifically but... I'm pretty proud of our pages. It feels good to be working on something that addresses #disabilityjustice, #bookbans, and attacks on #transrights.

Helping keep people alive the state would rather socially (or actively) murder is anti-fascist work.
If you're just helping one other person stay ok, you're doing the work. If you decide to start masking in public spaces again and gently nudge your friends to do the same, you're doing the work.
